I bought the game in 2008 when it was a Greatest Hit title and I found myself enjoying the game. If you don't have a mouse with adjustable sensitivity, you may run into trouble, as the game was designed for mice with very low DPI and thus has very slow mouse movement on any kind of modern gaming mouse (unless you hit that button a few times). What were your thoughts about this game? I remember when I saw a story about this game in EGM in 2005 and thought to myself "Huh? Seriously?" At that time I was skeptical about movie-based video games, and even I wondered about the story considering Tony Montana was alive in it, until I read that the story was in a what-if scenario that had him survive and fight off all of Sosa's henchmen and had him rebuild his empire. Just in case you only have integrated graphics, you may have to turn down some of the particle effects (as is often the case with alpha transparency heavy PS2-ports from that era), but otherwise, it has low hardware requirements, of course. This game is from before single-use activation codes became standard, so a used PC copy should install just fine.ĭo note that you need this fan patch on PC in order for it to work at all on modern hardware: I recommend either the excellent Wii port if you want a console version (the PS2 version works, but runs at a resolution and frame rate that would make even Cyberpunk 2077 blush) or the best version, which is of course the PC port. Most licensing contracts are only for a few years or a limited number of copies, which is a shame with great games like this one. This is often the case with movie tie-ins like this one, but also games that contain copyrighted music, cars or brands. ![]() ![]() The game is not available anymore due to expired licenses. The developers get exactly the same amount of money as if you pirated it though, so unless piracy = stealing in your mind (even though you aren't taking anything away and are not depriving anyone of their income), it really doesn't matter. The only legal way is to buy a used copy.
